How to get help

Email us. Write to contact@deviops.app about your account, a tool request, a download, or anything on this site. We reply to every message, usually within the same business day.

From inside a tool. If you are an approved user, choose Help > Contact support in the tool.

A security problem. Email security@deviops.app. The Security page says how a report is handled.

All the addresses are on the Contact page.

What to include

  • What you were doing when the problem happened.
  • What you expected, and what happened instead.
  • The email address your account uses.
  • The tool name and version, and your Windows version, if the question is about a tool or a download.
  • The exact words of any error message.

Never send case data. Do not include evidence, case numbers, file names or hashes from a case, keys or passphrases, personal information about a member of the public, or anything else your organization treats as sensitive. We do not need it to help you. A description of the screen and the step is enough.

Common questions

How do I get an account?

Create one on this site with the email you want to use for DEVI, complete your profile, then request each tool you need from Account > Tools. The DEVI Ops Team reviews every request, usually within the same business day, and emails the decision to your sign-in address.

My tool request is still waiting.

Each tool is approved on its own, so one can be approved while another is still in review. If you have not heard back within a business day, email contact@deviops.app from your sign-in address.

I cannot sign in, or I forgot my password.

Check that you are using the email address the account was created with. To set a new password, use Reset it by email and follow the email sent to your sign-in address.

Can I sign in without typing a password?

Yes. Add a passkey from Account > Security, and your device confirms it is you with Face ID, Touch ID, Windows Hello or your device PIN. You can remove it at any time and go back to your password.

Where do I download a tool?

From the tool's own page, after you sign in, once the tool is approved for your account. Compare the file with the SHA-256 published on that page and on the Trust and Security page before you run it.

Windows shows a SmartScreen warning.

Check the file's SHA-256 first. Windows can still show a SmartScreen warning for a newly signed release; that is reputation, not a failed signature. If it does, choose More info, then Run anyway.

A finding in an insight does not match what I am seeing.

That is worth telling us, and it is more useful to us than agreement. Forensic behavior changes between operating system versions, application versions, extraction methods and tool versions, so a finding can be correct when it was written and wrong on your data. Write to contact@deviops.app with what you observed and the versions you were running, and we will correct the finding or record the difference. Validate every finding against your own data before you rely on it.

How do I delete my account?

Sign in and open Account > Security > Delete account. It cannot be undone. The Privacy Policy says what is removed.
